These are Mali's latest drawings. The top one is her drawing of the 5 things she wants to do this summer with her daddy. She drew a picture of our house with a line to what she wants to do, symbolizing "going" to that place. #1 Go to the cabin #2 Go swimming #3 Go the the park #4Go to Jump N Jive #5 Go fishing.
This is Mali's family tree that she created in Preschool. I love that she is finally writing Mama instead of Brie! A lot of times I think that I would like her to call me Mama forever and not grow out of it. My dad refers to his dad as Daddy...so if we could be Mama and Daddy forever that would be just fine with me! I'll leave this post on that sweet note rather than delve into my therapist thoughts about the symbolism of being the only one on the other branch or the branch waiting for a leaf.
