Last night during story time, Mali read her first sentence!!! I was so proud of her! The sentence was in her Hello Kitty book and said "what do you want to be?" It was so exciting. She is also starting to spell phonetically. Check out the drawings above that she wrote all on her own. The first drawing on the left is her drawing of a shelter. She drew the CABIN and spelled it kvn. Then she drew a picture for Luke McCullough who is affectionally called Luker sometimes and she wrote LGK for Luker. Then she wrote Abby Dallas' name, as ABY. She also wrote butterfly on her Turkey in Disguise as BFY. This is SO exciting for me as a parent. I'm so thankful for her and for her teacher that is helping her learn and take this HUGE step!
